Pretty Neat! Almost inclined to convert my lights in the same manner. but i've only ever had one broken machine in the last 20 years

This is THW and I fully expected to see a blended washing machine.
Your standards are slipping. Leave creativeness to Mac sites.

That's likely the least interesting news piece of 2010 .... this has nothing to do with anything even remotely enthusiast computer dude related.

In english : stop wasting our time

But what about the concept washing machine that uses Star Trek teleporters to beam the dirt off of clothing? That seems to be ok around here as long as someone renders a concept picture of it...

Actually, my friends and I have taken one of those apart and used the drum as a fire pit for our parties when we go outdoors! It works really well, and heats everything around very well

Could have just skipped the article after reading the title. OK, it takes 3 second to read the title, but get over it.

We bought one of those firepits from Home Depot and mounted a dryer drum to the top. It does not look bad at all and now I can get a bigger fire going for those late night BBQ's without worrying about wood falling out.

[citation][nom]back_by_demand[/nom]Interesting idea, expanded further you could feed a dirty tshirt into the replicators to turn into base matter and ask it to give you the same tshirt with no dirt...ButAsk for it to be red instead of blue and Converse instead of NikeOr even change it from a tshirt to a pair of shoesYour washing machine also acts as a clothes shop and wardrobe[/citation]

Does the replicator "stock up" on raw materials or you can add properties to particles to make them anything you want? If its option two how come people still squabble over resources on Star Trek?
