How can you call the Nokia N8 "one of the most clouded devices in this article" when all its official specs are known. I understand the OS is a bit of a mystery, but they're OS walkthrough videos posted on Nokia' 'conversations' blog.
The N8 is the worlds first penta-band 3G (WCDMA/UMTS) device supporting every 3G GSM network in the world (supporting both both AT&T and T Mobile's 3G network). It also supports faster 3G speeds (theoretical throughput) than any other phone out there.
The N8 will be one of the first phones to support 802.11n WiFi, and is also one of the first to support Bluetooth 3.0.
The N8 also has a 12MP camera with a larger optical sensor than most digital cameras. It can record video at 720p, 25fps, and has an mini-HDMI out.
Another cool feature of the N8 will be USB OTG (sp?) support, allowing the user to connect to a HDD or a flash drive via USB and browse/play files.
Finally, the Nokia N8 has a 3.5" AMOLED screen (320x640 resolution), unibody aluminum construction, and will be available in Q3 for less than $500 unlocked and unsubsidized.
That sure is a lot of official info for a phone shrouded in mystery. Did you guys get lazy and just focus on the questions regarding the OS? Because odds are it's a lot like its Symbian S60 roots - you know ... the other smartphone OS with the most worldwide marketshare.
