Thinking about buying some audio-technica ath-m50x, what mic that attaches to the headphones would be good?

I'm at that stage in my CS career where I'm on a team, and apparently my Logitech g930s aren't hearing everything they should(teammates an audiophile and says he hears the stuff I don't) sadly, he doesn't know much about microphones. I don't wanna spend more than $50. thanks!

Might be an unpopular opinion, go for a decktop mic. like the Blue Snowball. (might just be out of your budget)

The Antlion Modmic is not as good as it is often made out to be, so avoid that one if you ask me.

G930, G35, etc. sound like sh*t! I bought it and sold it.
ATH-M50 sounds definitely a lot better.
I can not help you with the mic topic tho'. I hope others will be able to help you more.
