So, if you rewatch the video you'll notice it's a singular screen, the other screen it's showing while it flips doesn't have a camera, but does have a home button, it's the same screen it's just "flipping" between apps.

At the 30-second mark, it sure looks like the phone is just flipping over to reveal something on the other side. But you may well be right that this is just a video effect to showcase different apps. At any rate, I've added a note to the story.
