The Laptop is Lenevo Ideapad Z500

It have

Intel I5 3230M processer
4 GB RAM
1 TB Hardisk
1 GB Nvidia Geforce gt 740M Graphics
1366 x 768 res.

My concern is about batteries, some people say that you can not remove your batteries. This will decrease the gaming performance? And what if my battery died about after 1-2 Years?

Thanks.Any advice will be appreciated!

You are right , once battery is fried up you again have to spend money getting replaced. So in my opinion spend a few more bucks and get a better laptop with i7 (so you don't backdraw in 2015 ).
4 Gb of memory ? that not good for gaming
Here's a better Laptop! (

It will run most games in high settings at native resolution. Games like Assassin Creed 4, BF4, etc will run on low-med settings at 30+fps. Batteries dont affect gameplay unless you keep the laptop plugged in while playing. DONT PLAY WHILE ON BATTERIES. It reduces the GPU performance as it automatically underclocks itself.

As far as the non user replacable battery is concerned, you can get it changed by the lenovo guys if it dies after an year or two.

The laptop you suggested is Rs11000 more than the one he has selected. So that may be way out of his range. Also I dont think 4gb of ram is an issue for laptop gaming, tell me a single game that has problems with 4gb ram. Even if it becomes an issue, it can be upgraded anytime.
And battery is same in both of them i think. The non user replaceable one. And every battery has to be replaced once it is drained they are not meant to serve you for lifetime. So what do you mean by "once battery is fried up you again have to spend money getting replaced"?

If it is damaged within the warranty period, then they will have to replace it for free. Elsewise, you will have to pay. Lenovo batteries are usually good and serves for about 2 yrs before going completely dead. The capacity gets reduced with time though.
You can play games for atleast an year. GT 740m is a good card.

As of now u dont need 8 GB ram. Still, if you want, you can go for 8 gb.

Every Hardcore gamer's choice is 8GB of memory ! The sites such as IGN also recommend 8GB of ram for smoother gameplay.Intel will be launching new processors by mid 2015.Which will most probably even backdraw i3! Intel Xeon which is releasing soon is basically an i7 with more cores! I suggest him to invest more money so that his computer doesn't get backdrawn by new generation of processors easily!

When someone says I want to buy a laptop for gaming, you dont say go buy an alienware. You ask his budget. And everything is going to be outdated someday.
