Google reportedly ordered about 60,000 to 65,000 Chromebooks, which means that you could still receive a notebook if you signed up now.

Did I miss something? There is no link, or at least a description of some sign-up page that used to exist? I'm not sure whether this was a contest Google put on or if they just shipped Chromebooks all over and made it into an easter egg hunt.

Seems kinda lacking on what exactly is going on. Maybe I missed a prior article but then I don't see a link to that either.

Nothing arrived,
not even a thank you message, or we'll look into the case.
Nothing!

I applied one for my wife too, just to see if they did not skip me, accidentally got my application erased, or just ignored my expertise in software and the use of programs.

It'd be a pitty if 2 or 3 laptops would arrive in my family, I suppose my wife and I both can use one, but I would have been more comfortable getting some response at least. One is enough for me.
