I have a Toshiba L305d laptop and three keys won't type. They are 1,2, and z. I am using Windows 7. I tried the 60 second rule and that didn't help. no spills no drops no bangs ... just suddenly these keys stopped working.

Solution
Try this...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (yes, without reinstalling the driver).
3. When the computer restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't fix it, I would then look at if anything got into the keys? Doesn't have to be liquid. Can be crumbs, dust, etc.
