I turned wifi on in all places but still no internet

Turning on wifi is only part of what you need to do. You still need to find a wifi to join (called scanning but most phone do that automatically), join the wifi network, maybe enter the password or in the case of a free hotspot you might need to bring up your browser and go thru an agreement process (often to bring up the agreement screens you need to try and go to a website after opening your browser)
