I agree that the whole Copilot+ branding is goofy. My next laptop purchase probably won't happen until at least 2028 as my XPS13 9300 still looks and works like a brand new laptop. When it's time to upgrade, I doubt if AI will play a role in the laptop that I choose. Number of Ports, Battery life, weight, cell connectivity and display will decide which Windows PC that I will buy.

I already have 3 different AI since beta testing before Bing AI and early Google AI LaMDA which become Bard then Gemini and of course Chat GPT. So I use Copilot already and don't need a new PC for a few more years. The real catch here is forcing you on windows 11 even if you are happy with 10. I've upgraded to 11 a long time ago, but be required hardware specs will make 10 obsolete by next October.
