Toshiba C55 satellite lap top with wifi

I try to connect to the wifi, but it says it can not connect. I've checked my settings, done a network reset. Still it shows it's connected, but won't connect. F12 will cut the wifi on and off, but it doesn't change it.

Have you tried testing the laptop on Ethernet to see if that will work? Also, have you tried resetting the modem/router to see if this resolves the issue.
