Toshiba keyboard inop

Toshiba satellite s55t. new hard drive. Installed purchased win 8.1 and now the alphanumeric portion of the keyboard doesn't function. Mouse pad works.

Try this..

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the laptop (without reinstalling the driver).
3. The device should reinstall the driver once it restarts.
