Toshiba L755-154 Issues

Hi all,

I was wondering if any has experience of or knows what would cause the problems I am having.

I have a L755-154 which during use switches off on battery power. As a result, it starts to 'corrupt' Windows, by reporting abnormal shutdowns, poor boot ups (black screen), driver crashes and blue screens (nvidia namely one).

Sounds like you GPU is experiencing a problem. it's a geforce 525M.

Firstly, if it is under warranty send it in for repair.

If you need to attempt repair yourself, open up the laptop and clean the H/S and FANS from dust. Re-apply TIM and put it all back together.

This could stop the problem. If not, try UNDERCLOCKING the GPU and gRAM using an overclocking utility. This will put less stress on the GPU and hopefully fix the problem.
