Toshiba laptop delete key not working

suddenly my laptop - toshiba satellite- delete key does not work how to solve this problem

First plug in an external USB keyboard to see if the delete key works there. If not, then you probably need a new keyboard. Of course if the unit is under warranty, you can make it Toshiba's problem to figure out what's wrong with it.
