Toshiba sat a300

How do I recover my system? Have no recovery disk do I need to buy one to get up and running?

What operating system, as I believe A300 probably came with XP or vista.
If by chance it has windows 7, you could try barrowing a windows 7 DVD and select repair. may be able to do that with XP, or vista, But much harder to find a copy at least for visa as it was so short lived.

Barring that then most likely will need to purchase from Toshibia.
