Solved! Toshiba Satellite C50-a514 screen upgrade

i have a Toshiba Satellite C50-a514 which i bought 6 years back. still in a good condition i upgraded with SSD & Additional RAM. and now im thinking about upgrading the screen from HD to FHD. i think both are having 40 pin connectors so i wanted to know guys will it be compatible or the pin counts doesn't matter ?

In general you can't change display panels. The machine HW is expecting a specific display HW configuration and will not be happy. This is different from the case with external monitors. Someone may have specific experience, but I doubt it will work. If you try it, let us know what happens!
