Question Toshiba satellite laptop c55d-b5212 power on but screen not showing

I have a Toshiba satellite laptop c55d-b5212. Runs windows 8.1/64 bit.
The problem I'm having is when press the power button it stay a solid light and I hear the hard drive running and everything else but... the screen is black and not showing the Toshiba logo.
