Toshiba Satellite Laptop

Please Help -
I have just unistalled a printer off the laptop and had to re-start it for it to finish the uninstall. Once the laptop has started back up I have input the passwords required as normal but once I get to the home screen it appears normal but then the icons all dissapear then return but I am unable to click anything.

Thank you for the reply. Im unable to check if any thing has been corrupted as I cant click anything not even the home button but I am able to do CTRL, ALT & DEL and get the task bar up. Do you have any ideas how I can get around it?

You could launch the Start using the Windows key then navigate using arrow keys to Run, type the sfc scannow commend and hit enter.
