I tried taking the battery out and unplugged it, then pressed the power button down for 30+ seconds, then plugged it all back and light stays on for a few seconds and starts to blink again. Laptop still won't turn on. It's old I know but I was using just fine until now. Satellite A665

Thanks...

Hi,

It could actually be that the battery has died or the charger has died and so that battery has no battery and cannot be charger...

What the exact model of your laptop. (the numbers or what on the end).

A665-S6065 .. battery stopped holding charge a few months ago. I know to have it plugged in. Both with the battery or just plugged in it won't start.

Yeah,

I think it's about time you brought a new battery for your laptop, here is a link to your models specific battery:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/LENOGE-Replacement-A655-S6050-A655-S6054-A655-S6055/dp/B00BIYAW78/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1444338760&sr=8-1&keywords=Satellite+A665-S6065+battery

Pretty decent price, this should fix all your issues (as long as the charger is working) your issue should be fixed by doing this, since this is a hardware issue there isn't much I can do except recommend that you get a new battery.

Hope I helped! :bounce::na:
