Can my Toshiba Satellite A300-11X run Sims 3?

From what I can see that system has a Core 2 Duo, SIMS 3 has a pretty low system requirement so should run, at least the base game. Honestly I would replace that thing for a used $100-200 Core i3 or i5 system. I like the Lenovo T420 models in that price range, you may be able to find a T430 also for a good price sometimes.
