Solved! Toshiba TV 42TL515U won't turn on after power outage

Toshiba 42TL515U tv wouldn't turn on after power outage? Clicks 1 time and fan turns on then shuts off when I plug in. I replaced power supply board and same thing. I found a refurbished main board and sucked it up, bought and installed. Now the tv turns on, ( no lights, just click and fan) stays on for about 20 secs, turns off and then almost immediately turns back on..... and just keeps repeating this process?

Sounds like you need to replace it. 7 yr old 42" TV, probably not worth having a tech look at it. I would not have bothered with the boards really, a lot of times they don't fix the issue.

I know, appreciate the reply. Guess I thought I could beat the system, ...... Although other than the ridiculously long startup time for this tv, I've been very satisfied with the picture. Twas perfect for the bedroom and has held it's own when compared to newer models. Anyhow, thanks for the reality check.
