Toshiba TV screen goes black after 15 min.

I have a 46" Toshiba TV, 3 yrs old. Screen goes black after 15-20 min. of watching, sound remains. Picture can still be very faintly seen thru the blackness. Is this the icon board, LESs or the backlight???! Help please? thanks!

First make sure all power saving features are off. If that doesn't work you may want to reset it to factory following manual's instructions.
