Having the feature of touch in some laptops is useful or not?

Windows 8 will work on that very well!
You can draw something in photoshop, use like a tablet aaaand so on.
They are, if your laptop can go something like a tablet mode ( not separated by 2 big metal square peices )

Hello... Touch screens have been used for many years now in the Manufacturing and Machine interfaces...
They can get damaged and dirty with each touch... It is used as a replacement for a computer Mouse... do you wanna see finger prints on your screen? or are you uncomfortable using a mouse?

the monitor and keyboard are inseparable. as I know most of touch laptops have weak CPU & VGA.
