Solved! touchpad driver needed

i downgraded my asus x540SA to win7 and now touchpad is not working. where can i get the touchpad driver??
what are the possible other ways to solve the issue?

Laptop manufacturer's drivers for X540SA:
https/www.asus.com/Laptops/X540SA/HelpDesk_Download/

However, there doesn't appear to be a touchpad driver available, so you may have to use Asus Live Update or Windows Update.
