Touchpad not working...help please

Model number: 14-q029wm it's an Hp chromebook 14, my touchpad stopped working and I can't do anything.

Physical issues usually require a trip to the repair shop. Can you open the Device Manager and see if the touchpad is detected and if there is a warning next to it?
