TouchPad on Laptop Not functioning !

Hey Guys I own a toshiba satellite L500. I had earlier posted a thread on my pc overheating and thanks to your help I fixed that. But after cleaning my fan and putting back my laptop and its components together, the touchpad doesnt work. I've been using an external usb mouse ever since.

Could you help me out ? i didnt have such a prob before opening my laptp.. Is some connection lose in there ?

laptop touchpad have a little connector under them to the board check if you plug it back .

Oh I dont remember plugging such a connector..i'll unscrew it again..thanks...
