transfering music files

Solution
Well, you can do it directly on your phone, but that will be a one file at a time option.

You could, however...

1. Connect the phone to a computer via USB and move them all to a folder on a computer.
2. Name them as you wish to name them as you wish.
3. You can also put them in folders that are for specific types, like one for "trip to..." another for "Taken at .... Party", etc.
4. Once you have the as you want them, then copy all of it over to the SD card that is in the phone.
5. Note I say move to computer and copy to card. That is, since you are wanting to save room, you don't want copies left on the phone. However, it is always good to have backups in case the phone dies, gets lost, stolen, erased, etc.
