Trinitron no Menu

1968 Trinitron won't change channels or call up menu. Is the tuner gone and what is the fix?

New TV - - - it is after all 50 years old! None of my televisions have lasted half that long (one was a Sony, it packed up recently after 10 years use. I still consider that reasonable for something that was on all day every day.

I wouldn't even consider trying to fix a 50-year old TV.

A TV that old won't have a menu.
The internal tuner is analog and almost all broadcasting today is digital so the tuner is useless. You could use a digital converter box, cable or satellite box.
