Hello!
Looking for the best headphones under $150.
I'm trying to find headphones that sound good and with really nice bass to hear those deep lows. And I prefer more closed back style.

The closed back HD598s have decent bass and don't need an amp. They will benefit from an amp/DAC though.

The ATH M50X has a bass boosted signature. Also don't need an amp but would benefit.

And with probably the best bass is the Beyerdynamic DT 770. There are 32ohm, 80ohm and 250ohm versions. You can drive the 32ohm model with a phone, the 80ohm with most onboard audio and the 250ohm version which sounds the best needs an amp...

Stay away from 'gaming' headsets for music unless they're from audio only companies like Sennheiser. If they also make a keyboard you don't want it for music.
