turn off bluetooth on my old motorola cell

I have an old motorola phone which is deactivated but still holds the charge and has many pictures and videos I would like to transfer to my computer in case phone gets lost or broken.

Connect phone to computer with the cable, read the manual for any specific directions, it may need drivers downloaded.
