Sounds nice.... the only problem I have is...

Is that safer riding in black jacket with a turning sign behind you or riding in a jacket with huge reflective coating?

By the way, can the drivers in the incoming traffic from the front, left, or right see the sign? People don't just get hit from the rear.

Good idea... but still need to be better

I will prefer a shining reflective jacket with a big dark area at the back showcasing the LED turning sign.

This reminds me of a simpsons episode where Bart got a turn signal utility belt to throw off a group of bullies. "He's turning left!" as he runs right.

Yep I was expecting Jane's picture selection skills for this article with a pic of bart's signal turn belt which helped him evade bullies in that ep. :)

Hasn't anyone thought about the applications for this product in sports: Imagine if you're dribbling the ball at the last defender, you put your blinker on signaling you're going right, BUT YOU GO LEFT! It could be the winning edge.

Hi, I am a flamer. I see other peoples great ideas and tear them apart to further credit my imaginary world I live in. I like twinkies and caffeinated donuts.

Other then that... this is a pretty bad ass idea!

O god here comes another piece of gear bikers in the military will have to wear. Of course that's with the simple design change of all black to reflective with turn signals.

Although really it's probably not gonna help to much like most other gear doesn't. I mean really if you can see the headlight, or tail light of a motorcyle, I doubt you're gonna be paying enough attention to see this.
