Turns off instantly

Solution
Hi,

Have you tried powering the laptop on without the battery and with just the AC adapter? Start with that and if that doesn't work try another AC adapter and see if your laptop will stay on. Also you can grab a multi tester to test if it's supplying enough voltage to power the laptop on. Next is reseat the battery (if not built in) making sure that it's properly connected to the laptop. Lastly before you contact the manufacturer if it's still under the factory warranty is to reseat the RAM. Take them off the laptop for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that they are seated properly.

Hope this steps will help.
