Tv flickering

Hello,
i was wondering what can i do to stop the tvfrom flickering?

what sort of flickering?
the entire screen is shutting off for a split second
or
the entire screen is jumping
or
?

chances are, there is a poor connection
or
there is a circuit board inside the television failing and needs to be taken to an electrical repair shop.


what is the video source that is connected to the television when flickering?
