Hi, so i have a family member with OCD who has probably plugged our TV's HDMI ports in and out at least over 2000 times. She's done it probably 10-20 times a day for the last 3 or so months. The inputs still work but i cant help but feel like something about the picture is off and doesnt look right, compared to HDMI 3 which she hasnt touched. but i cant put my finger on what exactly looks off. Is this just in my head? or can plugging the HDMI in and out that many times damage the port therefore affecting the picture quality?

Solution
Maybe the picture settings are not equal between HDMI and HDMI 3.

The picture quality shouldn´t be affected, but the port might get faulty over time. This would result in "no video signal" or flickering (picture on/off)
