Attempting to understand what equipment I would need to take Optical Audio Out of a Samsung TV to feed to my Weather Resistant Bose Speakers...I know I will need to amplify that signal but not sure what equipment is necessary

My Weather Resistant Bose Speakers are Speaker Line connection which complicated exactly what equipment other than a receiver that I could wall mount in my patio to convert the Optical Audio Out of the Samsung TV to amplify the TV Sound and convert it to speaker line out to the Bose Speakers

I really only need a remote control amplifier with the Optical Audio Out...any recommendations on one that could be wall mounted?

Solution
You can use an integrated amplifier with optical input. If the TV optical output is fixed (this is usual) then it will need a remote control for volume too,

You could also get an older used surround sound receiver (pre HDMI but with optical input). Check ebay and CL.

Depending how much power you need to push to your bose speakers, here is this Yamaha RX-V381BL Receiver
has optical input that you can connect to from your TV, than go out from this receiver to your outside speakers.
