The problem with Time Warner Cable is they are not listening to customers. We don't want $300 a month bills for Cable, Internet and TV....and with Google Fiber coming to Austin, they actually believe that this, in combination with 50MB Internet and free Wi-Fi in local parks is enough to keep us customers.
I ditched their "whole home DVR" ($30+ per TV) for an HTPC. I save close to $100 per month on my cable bill, and it works. Network time-outs, channels missing on remote TVs were too much of a pain in the backside.
As soon as Google Fiber can make the appointment, I am switching.
