Typing error: " key and @ keys switched

I have a new XPS and found that the " key creates the @ character and the @ key creates the " character.
How do I correct this please,

Please do try changing the keyboard layout settings that may help in solving the issue.

If this only happens in MS word, could also be someone messing with auto-correct as an April Fool's type of joke.
