Ultra Thin Laptops

Hello everyone, I am doing some research and need suggestions on what to get for a Thin, light weight, laptop.
Don't need it to be able to game, but I plan on doing some coding, writing, taking notes, and general things, internet, skype, etc.

I want to be able to take notes on it by hand, Windows 10, maybe Linux later.
Hoping for at least i5 would prefer i7

I do care about looks so not some plastic flimsy thing.
I would prefer a 13inch screen with little bezzel, but can go to 15inch.
I travel and would like a decent battery life.

Notes by hand means you want a convertible laptop. Surface Pro 4 would be good.
