My RCA TV does not have optical audio or HDMI ARC outputs. How can I connect to my Bose 500 sound bar? My TV has digital audio out, ant/cable, L and R audio jack, composite/y Pb and Pr jacks, HDMI (not ARC) 1 and 2, USB and a headphone jack. Bose 500 has optical audio and HDMI ARC

"digital audio" is often the same thing as "optical". Look at the connections and exact specs of the TV. Even if they are different connections you can find converters for many audio specifications to another.

Yes, thanks. I just ordered a Digital Coax to Optical Audio Converter so hopefully that will do the trick.
