unlock my computer

I cannot unlock my computer. I have to switch user and then I can get in. also my numbers on the right side i cannot use. the num lock light stays on and I cannot shut it off.

Try starting your computer in safe mode , after your computer starts up start pushing the f8 key, and chose safe mode
hopefully the administrator account is open and you can change your password from the control panel in the users.

Do you mean it wont accept your password? Do you know the password? Is it giving you a specific error that you can provide?
