Unlock my sim card without PUK. I broke my phone and want to use someone elses

I broke my phone and put my sim in a borrowed phone. I've tossed out the box it came in and I dont have the PUK number. How do I unlock it?

The Personal Unlocking Key (PUK) wasn't in the box but you can obtain it from the Service Provider. If the account is paid up to date they will give you that key. They might, though, offer you a new SIM of their own to try to keep your business.

If you get good signals, especially at home, it's best to ttake that offer because the other SIM might not have enough coverage where you live.
