unlock samsung S6 blocked on UK phone and UK provider

Hi.
I have a samsung S6 which was bought in the UK on a UK provider and the phone is restricted to that provider.
I would like to use this phone on a French provider Free or Bouygues. Could you please help me to unlock this phone.

Difficult as I don't know the provider, I just have the samsung box with emei number etc... as my friend left UK for asia and gave me this phone (2 years old)....
