Unresponsive Android Lockscreen

Half the time I wake my phone and type in my key code the phone lags and turns unresponsive. It misses out half the numbers I enter and the unlock fails. I use Nova launcher because the default launcher, along with Google's launcher forces widgets or icons on your home screen.

I read a while back that custom launchers interfere with the lock screen.


I use Nova launcher on Android 4.4.2, Asus Zenfone 6.

Does this happens specifically while charging?

is there any particular incident that this occurs. The most possible solution now is for you to try a hard rest on the device. ensure you back up all the files though, so you wont loose anything.

Id recommend turning your device off taking the battery out putting it back in and turning the device back on.
