Unsure if my laptop is running hot

Hi there,

Attached a screenshot of the CPUID hardware monitor. I'm a bit concerned about the CPU temperature as it seems to hover between 50 and 60 degrees C when doing web browsing, listening to music etc.

I've been unable to find the official max operating temp for this CPU (Phenom II X4 N930) but Core Temp has a value of 115 degrees C for the Tj max but the desktop version's max temp is just around 60? Bit concerned as this has the same architecture etc so would have expected a similar thermal tolerance.

Running Prime95 torture test increases it to a toasty 80 celcius!! Ambient is around 20 .

60C is acceptable for Phenom II X4 N930. 90C is about when throttling starts.
An ACER service guide shows these values being used in Phenom II X4 N920 system.
• Throttling 50%: 90C
• OS Shutdown: 95°C
• H/W Shutdown: 98°C
