unused slot 0 means ?

i have a laptop with 4gb ram upgradable to 8gb , wth 2 slots( unused slot 0) , i want to upgrade to max ram, so how many rams and how much i have to buy ?

I think "unused slot 0" means there are no available slots, which would require you to buy a 2x4GB SD RAM to replace the current RAM in your laptop. I would check with your manufacturer to see exactly how many RAM sticks are in the computer, I'm guessing 2x2GB.
