Upgrade Intel Pentium 987 on SONY laptop

Hello to everybody! i know that the Intel Pentium 987 is soldering on the mobo, but i want to ask you if can i unsoldering and resoldering i5-2467M Processor or i7-2677M ? All of them have the same socket supported: FCBGA1023 and working at the same watts (17) and temperature.Thanks in advance.

I don't care how good you are with a soldering iron, but there's no way you're going to get the precision necessary to solder a chip to a mobo.

Thank you for your fast response .No would do it myself but my friend a graduate electronic, continuously repair motherboards and laptops. Just ask if you know if is compatible the sockets.

No, still doesn't matter if your friend has a degree. Unless he has the machine that the manufacturer uses to solder chips to motherboards, you're out of luck.
