This is my first post on these forums i hope yall can help.

I bought this MSI gx-630 at a local pawn shop for a ok deal i think. Now i know the hardware in it is a little out dated but with a pretty good overclock to both the cpu and gpu i was able to get it to play BF3 at 1280x800 on low with minor lag.

I took it apart to blow dust out of it since i was seeing 100c gpu temps.

Upon taking it out i found that the video card is removable.

My questions is can i upgrade the video card in it?

It has a 9600m GT right now with 512mb vram. Any way that it could be upgraded to maybe the 9800m or 8800m?

Or better is this pci-e 16x slot universal like the desktops?

Could you put a ati card in it?
