Hello!
First of all sorry if my question may sound as a beginner one, but trying to learn everyday. I have just started working on a ISP which uses a cable modem network (client service stil, lol ) and i am having a lot of issues with having a high upload use which blocks all the internet access for that device or others sharing that download bandwidth. For example if he is using 1 Mbps of upload at maximum all time they can't navigate for nothing. I use the telnet commands to see the online traffic that is being made. My question is that how they can verify what kind of apps, programs are using this upload process. I know that probably a dropbox, torrent or other apps can use it but is there a way that on a phone or lap top they can open something to see directly what is making this proccess? Or is something else on these devices that can use uploads without being used from the person that have them?
Thank you!
