Hello

I recently bought a LG B7V tv but i cant use my USB Plantronics 500 headset on it.
I can put it into the 3.5mm jack but the sound is oufcourse not that great.

What do i have to purschase to be able to connect it to the TV?
Are there any amps you can connect that i can connect my USB headset into to get the best possible sound?
The headset has a built in dolby soundcard on the cord but i can disconnects it.

Solution
Taking the analog output of the TV, sending it into a PC to convert it to digital, then using USB for the headphones to convert back to analog won't improve the sound quality. It can only make it worse.
If you don't like the sound of the Plantronics then get better headphones.
As you've discovered - you cannot use USB headset with consumer AV devices. Audio-over-USB is computer-centric, and TV makers did not see it is worth enabling it in their sets.

I don't know of any stand-alone, off-the-shelf device which can do that.
What is needed is a computer with audio-in connector (where to plug the TV). You're looking into like $100 investment.
