Solved! Usb on lg tv

Hi, I'm trying to display 1 picture on my LG TV from a usb stick to be displayed all the time. I have got the pictured displayed but after around 5 mins it turns off automatically and goes back to the menu showing you whats on the drive and you have to choose the picture to display again. I've tried a slideshow but it takes the pic off to a black screen then brings it back on every second or so, I need it on permanently until I turn it off. Can anyone help with this or have any suggestions thanks

Which model LG TV? Do you have the User Guide/Manual?

If not, go to LG's website and look for the applicable User Guide/Manual.

For the most part I would expect that there is some configuration setting available that will either lock the background picture or perhaps cycle through the available photos. Or control the display time.

Historically, using the same background image could "burn in' that image and it would always be seen thereafter. Almost as a ghost....

It may not let you.

Consult manual to see if pic can be used as a screen saver, if available pic would be "floating" not static, and turn off all green/power saving modes.

You may be able to work around this by making a video with nothing but that one picture. I think you can do that with the Proshow program.
