Hey, i use an Acer Aspire 5742G-383G50Mnkk. and I'm planning to replace my HDD with an M.2 drive. If thats not possible I intend to use the optical drive slot to install a secondary storage device, mainly M.2 drive. so i was just wondering if My motherboard is compatible with M.2

Hi,

No you can't use a M.2 SSD with your laptop so instead you go with the 2nd option which is to use a HDD caddy and replace the optical disc drive.
